Our Tick Control Program
We offer both organic and synthetic tick control options, and we'll recommend the right approach based on your property, your family's needs, and any pets on the premises. Every program is customized to your acreage and the specific vegetation patterns on your lot — because tick pressure varies significantly between a manicured lawn edge, a woodland border, and ornamental plantings. Our standard tick control season runs April through November, with applications timed to the three critical periods in the tick lifecycle:
• Spring (April – May): Targeting nymph-stage ticks, which are the smallest, hardest to see, and responsible for the majority of human infections.
• Summer (June – July): A mid-season application to address any population rebound and treat high-activity areas around patios, pools, and garden beds.
• Late Summer / Fall (August – October): Targeting adult ticks as they become active again ahead of the cooler months.
Organic & Synthetic Options
For families who prefer an organic approach, we use cedar oil-based and other naturally derived treatments that are highly effective against ticks while remaining safe for children, pets, and beneficial insects when applied correctly. For properties with higher tick pressure or wooded acreage, our synthetic options provide longer residual protection. We'll walk you through both choices and make a recommendation based on your specific situation.
Where We Apply
Ticks don't live in the middle of your lawn — they live at the edges. Our certified team targets the areas of highest tick activity: the perimeter of lawn areas, borders of woodland or naturalized zones, ornamental planting beds, stone walls, wood piles, and any transitional zones between maintained and unmaintained areas. We pay particular attention to areas where people and pets spend time: pool surrounds, garden paths, and outdoor living spaces.

When does tick season start in the Hamptons?
Tick nymphs become active as early as late March when temperatures consistently reach 45°F. We recommend beginning your spray program no later than mid-April to stay ahead of peak nymph activity in May and June.
Is tick control safe for my children and pets?

How many treatments do I need per season?
